When undertaking your Big Steps of Hope Virtual Walk to d’feet MND, please ensure you follow the most up-to-date Government advice and adhere to it at all times. Do not organise to complete your Virtual Walk in groups at this time.

Halloween Walk and Kids Scavenger Hunt

Perfect for little adventurers!

If your littles one are disappointed that they can’t go trick-or-treating this year, then why not join the Virtual Walk and take steps to d’feet MND, and keep the little explorers entertained with a Scavenger Hunt… will they be able to find all the things on the list?

Set yourself a step goal

Why not set yourself a step goal, and see if you can complete it every day for a month?

Choose a number that will challenge you. 10,000 steps a day can be a big challenge if you are staying at home!

A team building exercise for a good cause. Empower your team to be healthy and productive, no matter the obstacle. Engage your staff and share a rewarding experience with colleagues.

Organise a challenge where your team members can compete against each other, or work together and challenge another team in your company.

Get your four-legged friend(s) involved and help make a PAWSitive difference to people living with MND, their families and carers. Remember to share your photographs using the hashtag #WalkiesWithWoofies!

Climb the stairs

Climbing the stairs is a great way of staying active at home while taking lots of steps to d’feet MND!

Why not set yourself a target of climbing one of these buildings or mountains? You could aim to climb the Empire State Building in a single day, or give yourself a month to climb Everest!

You could try the indoor Three Peaks Challenge by climbing Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis (1437 flights of stairs).

Could you leave the car at home and walk to work to support a worthy cause? Walking to work is a great way of keeping active, caring for the environment and reducing your expenses.

So how about you challenge yourself to walk to work every day for a week? A month? You’ll be feeling great and by taking steps to d’feet MND, you’ll be helping to make a big difference to people living with MND, their families and carers. Join the Virtual Walk today!

Do something every day

You could set yourself a goal of being active for a certain number of minutes every day for a month.

Why not try 30 minutes of exercise every day for a month? This could involve walking, running, dancing, climbing the stairs or doing some other home workouts!
